Adobe acrobat pro xi catalina free. Install an older version of Adobe Reader on Mac OS

PitStop Pro PitStop Pro 9. PitStop Professional 8. PitStop Professional 7. PitStop Professional 6. PitStop Professional 5. I know this is months later, but I just found your post. I have been running Acobat Pro X on Mojave for months with no issues. I occasionally get a message telling me that this version will no longer be supported in the future.

Adobe don't ignore your opinion, they just disagree with it. So do I. In my view it would be completely wrong for Adobe to make free updates because people want to use newer systems, but don't want to pay for all the work Adobe have to do to work with those new systems.

That would be subsidising Apple's profits, not sure that is even legal, still less moral. You know the score, it's up to you whether to go to Catalina, and you will need a budget for ALL new apps even the ones that aren't warning you. You do have a "lifetime license" as you put it for the use of Acrobat X or 8, 9, XI, 15 or any other stand-alone version.

It does not include upgrades. Unless specified in the license or you purchase a maintenance agreement that guarantees upgrades for a certain number of years, professional software never does. You are not entitled to anything other than your "lifetime license" not expiring. Posting "lifetime license" over and over may gain you sympathy including mine but it doesn't change the basic fact that, if you want Acrobat Pro to work over Catalina, you have only 2 options: One is the current stand-alone Adobe Acrobat ; the other is one of the subscription plans that Adobe offers.

I opted for Acrobat , a non-subscription "lifetime license". It's not cheap but it works ok. Acrobat Pro X worked well for over ten years. That has nothing to do with anything whether you believe it or not. There's freeware and cheapware out there.

If that does what you want, go for it. Adobe never guaranteed that all old versions of software designed for systems runnng bit software and particular hardware configurations would run on newer systems with incompatible hardware and operating systems the operating system no longer supports bit software.

The reason why you are getting warning messages is that Adobe does want you to know that if you do upgrade to the latest version of MacOS or you buy a new computer that only runs with the latest version of MacOS, you will need to upgrade your software, plain and simple.

I we didn't provide such warnings, there would be customers who would complain that we didn't warn them! Do not post any more replies to the thread above! Look for wording that specifically says your version is compatible with Apple Catalina OS If they don't say anything about Catalina, then they haven't finished retooling their software to work with Catalina.

Install the upgrade on another computer, like a spare laptop, and test if for a few weeks to see how well it works with your main software applications. From my Adobe account I can download my earlier orders. But the installation hangs almost immediately. I don't know what to do now. Wait for Adobe to fix or abandon and look for an alternative.

Nov 17, AM. Nov 18, AM in response to simon In response to simon I have moved to Catalina full time as of the I've installed only the CC apps I use which is quite a few. All of them work as expected. There always room for bugs that only affect certain Mac models, so I won't rule that out.

How did you install Catalina? If you installed it over a previous OS, that is something I never, ever do. Yes, it takes time to install a new OS to its own partition, then all of your third party apps and set everything up to your liking. It also gives you a very easy way out by being able to boot to the previous OS if you do run across a true bug or other issue that needs to be ironed out before you start using the new OS full time.

If the issue continues into any user account, even a new one. Break part of your drive off into a blank partition. Install Catalina onto it clean. If it doesn't work correctly there, you may have a hardware issue. Nov 18, AM. I have spoken to adobe 6 times now and apart from me having to learn Urdu I can tell you that they are the most useless and unprofessional bunch of idiots on earth - I have 3 different people dealing with the case and my 8 year old granddaughter knows more about computers and software than that do!!!!

What are you calling a "clean install"? To some, that only means they reinstalled the OS over the OS that was already there. That's not even close to the same thing as installing the OS on an erased drive or partition. Did you try doing this? I'm guessing that's supposed to be me? Installing Adobe Reader is a two-step process. First you download the installation package, and then you install Adobe Reader from that package file. Before you install, make sure that your system meets the minimum system requirements.

Go to the Adobe Acrobat Reader download page. If you're running Mac OS X Select your operating system, a language, and the version of Reader that you want to install. Then click Download now.
